About Me
What is it that fuels you? For me, it’s my dreams. My physical dreams that dazzle me during the nightime are wild and vivid and give me so much to wonder about that I often wish I could stay in them. My OTHER dreams- my abmitions- are what wake me from my psychologic hallucinations and drive me to stay in reality. I dream of making waves in the physical therapy world, closing the gap between the mind and the body, opening my own practice in women's health, raising a big and beautiful family, and leaving this world a more inclusive and joyful place than I found it.
It started back home in the suburbs of Denver, CO with my four siblings and two working parents. I was a timid, thoughtful and adventurous young woman with hobbies in dance, yoga, piano, and hiking. Despite my conservative upbringing, I had dreams of becoming a doctor and breadwinner when I grew up. I was happily raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (formerly known as the Mormon church, abbreviated as LDS) and believed I'd be consigned to housewifehood, but always felt I could do more.

After graduating high school and serving an LDS mission in the Boston area, I obtained my BS in Kinesiology from Utah State University in 2020. I became dissillusioned from pursuing medicine and sought out a career in healthcare that was more natural, yet completely evidence-based. I am now on my second year of my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Tufts University School of Medicine. Tufts DPT is a hybrid program, allowing me to live at home with my husband Jordan and basset hound Buck in Logan, UT while also travelling to Boston for in-person lab trainings multiple times a year. I will graduate from Tufts with my DPT in December 2022.

My studies, experiences and interests have led me to explore the concepts of human autonomy as it pertains to our health and almost every other sector of life. I aim to draw back the curtains on the mind-body-life integration and provoke others to give more thought to the good they can do for themselves and the world. Explore, enjoy, and dream with me!
